1. Who we are

SaudiComputerTest.com is an independent, free educational website providing practice tests and guides for the Saudi Arabia driving theory test, commonly known as the Dallah Computer Test. The site is operated by Zia ur Rahman, an independent digital publisher based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

We are not affiliated with Dallah Driving School, Moroor (the General Department of Traffic), the Saudi Ministry of Interior, or any government body. You can learn more about the site here.

In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to SaudiComputerTest.com. "You" refers to any visitor to the site.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us voluntarily

The only way you can send us personal information directly is through our contact form or by emailing us. If you do, we receive the name, email address and message content you choose to provide. See section 7 for detail.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider and the third-party services we use automatically receive certain technical information when you visit, including:

• Your IP address (which indicates your approximate location, usually at city level)
• Browser type and version, and operating system
• Device type (mobile, tablet, desktop) and screen size
• The pages you visit on our site and the time spent on them
• The website or search engine that referred you to us
• Date and time of your visit

This information is collected in aggregate and is used to understand how the site is used and to keep it working properly. We do not use it to identify you personally.

3. What we do not collect

We want to be clear about what this site does not do:

• No accounts. There is no registration, login, or user account on this site.
• No payment information. The site is entirely free. We never ask for or process card or bank details.
• No quiz results are stored on our servers. Your practice test scores are calculated in your browser and are not transmitted to us or saved to any account.
• No passport, Iqama, licence or government ID numbers. Never enter these anywhere on this site — we have no legitimate need for them and no page will ever ask.
• We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we never have.

4. Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. This site uses cookies in the following ways:

• Essential cookies — set by our website platform (WordPress) to make the site function correctly. These do not track you across other websites.
• Analytics cookies — used to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate. See section 6.
• Advertising cookies — set by Google and its advertising partners to serve and measure ads. See section 5.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse cookies entirely or delete existing ones. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from using the practice tests or reading the guides on this site, though some ads may become less relevant.

This site is free to use and is funded by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display advertisements.

• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• Third-party vendors and ad networks may also serve ads on this site and may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information about your visits in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.
• We do not control these third-party cookies and this policy does not cover their use of your information.

How to opt out

You have choices about personalised advertising:

6. Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors find and use the site — for example which guides are most read and which languages are most in demand. This helps us decide what to improve and what to write next.

Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, time on site, approximate location, and device type. We have configured it to work with aggregated data and we do not use it to identify individual visitors.

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about your visit by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

7. Contact form

Our contact page uses a form service called Formspree to deliver messages to us by email. When you submit the form:

• The name, email address, subject, page reference and message you enter are transmitted to and processed by Formspree, which then forwards them to our email inbox.
• Formspree may also record technical information such as your IP address and the time of submission for spam prevention purposes.
• Formspree stores a copy of submissions on its servers. Their handling of that data is governed by the Formspree Privacy Policy.

We use the information you send only to read and reply to your message, and to correct any error you report. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not share your message or email address with any third party for marketing.

8. Third-party services we use

For transparency, these are the third-party services operating on this site and the purpose of each:

• Google AdSense — displays advertising, which funds the site. Privacy policy
• Google Analytics — aggregated visitor statistics. Privacy policy
• Google Fonts — loads the typefaces used on the site; your browser requests these files from Google's servers.
• Formspree — processes contact form submissions. Privacy policy
• Our web host — stores the website files and keeps standard server access logs.

We may add or change service providers over time. Where a change materially affects how your information is handled, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.

9. How long we keep information

• Contact form messages — kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and to keep a record of reported corrections, typically no longer than 24 months. You may ask us to delete your message sooner.
• Analytics data — retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings, in aggregated form.
• Server logs — kept for a short period by our host for security and troubleshooting.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information — including under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). These may include the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate
• Ask us to delete your information
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Withdraw consent you previously gave, at any time

Because we do not operate user accounts, the only personal information we are likely to hold about you is a message you sent us. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@saudicomputertest.com and we will respond within 30 days.

California residents: we do not sell personal information as that term is defined under the CCPA.

11. Children's privacy

This site is intended for adults preparing for a driving test and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Security

This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. We take reasonable measures to protect the limited information we hold, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time — for example if we add a new service or if the law changes. The current version is always published on this page, and the "last updated" date at the top tells you when it was last revised. Significant changes will be noted clearly. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
