8 tips to pass first time
From people who have passed the Dallah computer test
1
Know the key numbers
Highway: 120 km/h. City: 60–80 km/h. School zone: 30–50 km/h. Pass mark: 22/35. Black points limit: 24. Seatbelt fine: SAR 150–300. Red light fine: SAR 3,000–6,000.
2
Learn sign shapes first
Red triangle = warning. Red circle = prohibition. Blue circle = mandatory. Octagon = STOP. Know the shape and you know the category before reading.
3
Skip — never guess
You can skip questions on the real test. If unsure, skip and return. A wrong answer is still wrong. Skipping costs you nothing.
4
Focus on Section 1 first
60% of the test is traffic rules. Master roundabouts, right of way, speed limits, seatbelts, and fines before moving to signs.
5
Practise in your test language
If taking the test in Urdu or Hindi, practise in that language. Some terms feel different under pressure when translated.
6
Read every word carefully
Many questions have two very similar-looking answers. Read the full question before selecting. Words like "must", "never", and "only" change the answer completely.
7
Practise daily for one week
One week of daily practice is enough for most people. Use this site's practice test and topic sections — do not cram the night before.
8
Arrive early on test day
Arrive at least 15 minutes early. Bring your Iqama — you need it for check-in. Do not wear sunglasses. The test takes about 15–20 minutes if well prepared.
